Mariner Boating Holidays announces 2014 Multihull events

When it comes to overall cruising comfort, it’s hard to beat the advantages of a catamaran and that's why Mariner Boating is using them for some of their 2014 events. Even devoted monohull purists can admit that, for coastal cruising and island hopping, it’s nice to have that extra bit of space and ventilation. Plus, the low angle of heel is much more conducive to easy handling and lunches seem to have a much better chance of staying on the table.

Teaming up with Multihull Solutions, Mariner has put together three events early in 2014 that feature cats in the famous rally format. The yacht rallies are a great way to explore a destination with the convenience of technical back-up and the reassurance of cruising in company. The events are hosted by Australians Trevor and Maggie Joyce who have been conducting yacht rallies and cruising for more than 40 years.

Featured charter boats for the rallies from Catana including OC41, the Carbon-Infused 42 and 47 and there are other yachts available as well. Of course, monohulls are available too for those who just really prefer a little less beam.
