U.S. Sailing Youth Championship - Miami YC Junior Members accepted

2013 U.S. Sailing Youth Championship for the Formula 16 is being held from August 13 to 16 in Corpus Christi, TX. Miami Yacht Club Junior Members Katie Flood and David Hein have been accepted to 'Youth Champs.'

Participation in Youth Champs is a prerequisite in competition for the 2014 US Worlds Team. Please click here for more information on all of the classes participating. 'Corpus Christi Yacht Club will provide a fantastic venue to showcase the talent of America's best youth sailors,' said Malinda Crain, Chair, US Sailing's Youth Championships Committee. 'Holding the regatta at the end of the summer gives young sailors a summer-end goal to strive toward. Expect exciting competition, high-quality coaching, lasting friendships and a few surprises all within the unique format of the U.S. Youth Championships.'
