A veteran of 23 events to date, Leigh Francis from All Marine Spares says the event is a highlight on the marketing calendar for his business and this year, seven of his crew will be accompanying him to the Gold Coast to man the stand at the 25th annual Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 23-26 May.

On display will be the new model Craftsman engines, 80 and 65hp diesels, as well as brand new and revolutionary products Leigh sourced at METS and IBEX in 2012.

The Craftsman brand has been garnering excellent feedback for four years since All Marine Spares began stocking its range of engines.

'They are a sophisticated motor and meet all the emission requirements, yet they are simple and cheap to maintain. They run smoothly, they’re reliable, not super high-tech. They do deliver good performance and are very economical to run, both in consumables and maintenance.'

They will be showing the new range of ATI hot water heaters for boats, imported from Italy, with a size to suit all styles and sizes of boats.

Also at SCIBS this year, All Marine Spares will also have a brand new range of cables and controls from Italian manufacturer Flexball, which boasts a background in high-tech aviation and industrial control systems.

'It’s an exemplary brand of very well priced European products, which will compete with anything on the market,' explains Leigh, adding that on display and functioning at Sanctuary Cove will be the new product by Flexball and All Marine Spares – a fly-by-wire control system, ideal for throttle and gear selection.

'It’s a state of the art electric wire system that actuates the controls, meaning you don’t have to run cables the length of the boat. This is the first time something like this is available in Australia and it will be very, very competitively priced.'

In the high traffic area on the marina edge at the end of the Promenade, the expert team from All Marine Spares will be on hand at SCIBS to demonstrate all the latest range of top-line products.
