International Moth European Championship day 5

by Domenico Boffi on 3 May 2013
International Moth European Championship 2013 Martina Orsini
Day five of the International Moth European Championship greeted competitors with six/eight knots of wind, sun and sea. There was one race in the morning, but the weather continued to fail. It was a day in which the British would have liked to confirm their superiority and in which the Swiss could have redeemed themselves.

The weather is changing and the breeze is not settling in, so only the slight thermal morning wind allowed for one valide race to be held.

The jury, after the first race sent everyone in to wait for more wind , but at 4 PM the postponement flag over
A is hoisted .

The crews had time for more boat works and planning the innovations - the Moth class is known for, but it is the 'bar
talk' that is the main activity of the day: Italian, English, Swiss, Belgians, do tell all tales and experiences. At the 'bar
talk' game, Italians are masters and all listened to Stefano Rizzi's adventures in Olympics, America's cup, Volvo and
more...

Nothing beats listening to his funny stories from around the world!
