Waterski and Wakeboard World Cup - Trio of U.S. athletes victorious

United States water ski athletes Freddy Krueger (Winter Garden, Fla.), Erika Lang (Gilbert, Ariz.) and Jimmy Siemers (Round Rock, Texas) claimed titles in respective events Sunday at the opening event of the 2013 IWWF Water Ski World Cup in Mandurah, Australia.

Krueger won men's jumping with a distance of 204 feet; Lang won women's tricks with a score of 8,540 points; and Siemers won men's tricks with a score of 10,140 points. Australia's Jacinta Carroll won women's jumping with a distance of 152 feet.

U.S. athletes Scot Ellis (Auburndale, Fla.) and Lauren Morgan (Odessa, Fla.) placed third in men's and women's jumping, Full results USA Water Ski
