The world renowned AB brand of rigid hull inflatable boats is now back on sale in NSW through Boating Connexions, who are based at Cronulla in Sydney’s South.

Boating Connexions is headed by Neil Solomons, a long time exponent of inflatable boats, having been the importer of Avon Inflatables out of the UK and a distributor of Zodiac and Caribe inflatables in the past.

Customers include Maritime (MSB), Riviera Cruisers, Warren Yachts, Fairline Luxury Cruisers, Australian Yachting Team, Royal Sydney Yacht Squadron, Cruising Yacht Club Of Australia, Police Rescue Squad, other various Yachting Clubs and Universities around Australia to name a few. Even a famous Hollywood Movie Star from Top Gun.

Neil brings over 30 years experience in the inflatable boat business to Boating Connexions and its recent appointment as the AB Inflatables NSW Distributor.

AB Inflatables began life in Venezuela over 40 years ago and has more recently shifted operations to a purpose built facility in Colombia. Manufacturing is conducted under the ISO9001 international standard and their RIBS range in length from 2.5m to over 8m and are capable of carrying engines from 2HP to 450HP.

AB Inflatables hulls are constructed from both aluminium and fiberglass, clothed in high performance Hypalon fabric. The AB hull has a unique raised bow and deep V configuration which enhances the performance enabling them to plane more easily with less horsepower. These features also provide a smoother, more stable and drier ride.

Inside the boat, this design extends the floors forward and creates a wider and longer bow. The result is a roomier, more comfortable craft with ample storage for fuel and provisions.

AB Inflatables are built to an exceptionally high standard and come with a factory 10 year fabric warranty. One of only a few RIB manufactures to have CE, NMMA as well as ISO 9001 certification. Their robust and durable construction also makes these craft an ideal working performance RIB for numerous leisure, commercial and military applications.

For more information, contact Neil Solomons on Tel: (02) 9544 7899 or 0418 678 957.
