The upcoming Yacht Racing Forum in Amsterdam will be a truly unique gathering, bringing together key representatives of the yacht racing industry under one roof. With world-class speakers and timely, thought-provoking topics, it is the must-attend event for anyone serious about the business of the sport.

As the leading platform for forging new business opportunities and partnerships, the 2025 edition will offer an interesting commercial potential. Major players such as SailGP, AMAALA Yacht Club, The Ocean Race, the IMOCA Class or the Admirals' Cup will be represented, alongside technical providers such as Spinlock, FT Technologies, MUSTO, Nuncas Marine, Beneteau, Gurit and many more.

The event will integrate business and technology, fostering cross-sector collaboration and innovation. Attendees will have the chance to connect directly with key decision-makers—from event organisers to suppliers, yacht clubs and investors—while the co-location with Metstrade ensures access to the wider marine industry.

Bruno Dubois, Opening Keynote Speaker on Day 1

Following the announcement of Russell Coutts as our keynote speaker on Friday, November 21, we are pleased to introduce Bruno Dubois, who will open the conference on Thursday morning.

Bruno is one of the sports' most respected leaders, having successfully managed America's Cup, Volvo Ocean Race and SailGP teams. Bruno's career blends top-level sports management, commercial strategy, and team leadership. Throughout his career, he has proven ability to unite commercial partners, identify the best sailors, and understand the technologies that will help win races.

After more than thirty years of a career that began with participation in the Mini Transat, he is now ideally placed to offer a critical and impartial view on the evolution of our sport, speaking with complete frankness.

"I believe the Yacht Racing Forum is the perfect place for people in our industry to share their view on what the world of sailing is and should be", he said. "It is often at the YRF that major initiatives are taken in terms of pathways and equities. The technical part of the Forum is THE place to learn about new developments and the best place to get close to the people behind the products. As an old salty sailor, I am going each time I can to the Yacht Racing Forum to get inspired and to understand what the world of tomorrow will be."

Programme and speakers

AMAALA Yacht Club - A strong focus on yacht racing

AMAALA Yacht Club, title partner of the 2025 Yacht Racing Forum, will also serve as the host venue for The Ocean Race in 2027. Located on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, the club is developing a robust year-round calendar of regattas, training programs, and high-profile invitational events—positioning itself not only as a world-class luxury marina, but also as a dynamic new force in race organisation. Recently unveiled at the Monaco Yacht Show, the AMAALA marina will feature 116 berths for yachts up to 140 metres, alongside world-class facilities, services, and amenities.

Representatives of AMAALA Yacht Club, including Rosanna Chopra (Executive Director, Red Sea Global) and Adrian Peet (General Manager, AMAALA Yacht Club), will attend the Yacht Racing Forum to present their project and explore new opportunities with the event's delegates and partners.

Benefiting from year-round sunshine, AMAALA is surrounded by exceptional natural assets, from its pristine coastline and coral reefs to its rich wildlife. To protect this environment, visitor numbers are carefully managed, and the destination will be powered by renewable energy. At the heart of this vision lies the Corallium Marine Life Institute, located adjacent to the AMAALA Yacht Club, which will serve as a global hub for research, education, and conservation. Its mission is to safeguard mangroves, seagrass, coral reefs, and terrestrial habitats, with the ambitious goal of boosting Red Sea biodiversity by 30% by 2040.

1080 Media TV joins the YRF as Official TV production company

1080 Media TV is a multi-award-winning company providing innovative & creative solutions for productions worldwide. Cliff Webb, the founder and CEO of the company, explains: " Having attended the Yacht Racing Forum over very many years, indeed since it's inaugural event, it has been very rewarding to see the growth and interest in this exciting meeting place for the racing industry. Always topical, attracting a broad range of senior executives, media and sailors, the Forum generates debate and discussion around often difficult subjects, and is a proven 'melting pot' of ideas and opinions, and so we are delighted to become an official media partner to the Forum, and to be working with Bernard and his team. I look forward to meeting you there."
