Recently Sail-World provided instructions on how to add icons to our bookmarked websites onto the Iphone and Ipad home screens. Now here is how to add icons to Android mobiles.

For the Android phones and tablets, follow these instructions and you will have all the Sail-World, MarineBusiness-World, Powerboat-World and FishingBoating-World sites, with our customised icons, bookmarked and added onto your mobile homepages in no time:

Connect to the internet via your Android mobile. Do this by clicking on the internet icon which is probably already setup on your homepage or hit the right menu button and then select applications, then select internet.

Once on the internet type in the Sail-World website address: www.sail-world.com etc.

Once you have loaded the Sail-World site you need to click on your left menu button

Select the ‘add bookmark’ option and then type in the name of your bookmark… i.e. Sail-World... and then go down to the location. Check that the location is www.sail-world.com/ with nothing after the forward slash. Then hit the ok button.

Now your favourite sailing site is in your bookmarks folder, but that is just the first part.

To add the Sail-World bookmark, including customised sail-world icon, to one of your homepages follow these steps:

Go to the homepage you wish to add the shortcut icon to.

Click on the menu button

Click on the Add option

Select shortcuts

Select bookmarks

Click on the recently bookmarked Sail-World site

Now the sail-world shortcut, including customised icon, is on your homepage!

Exactly the same procedure for Sail-World.com/Cruising, Powerboat-wworld.com, MarineBusiness-world.com and FishingBoating-world.com.
