The 2013 America’s Cup will be the biggest marine media event in many years.

Sail-World.com, the world’s largest sailing news network will have the most detailed coverage of the event of any marine media.

Sail-World’s coverage of the 34th America’s Cup series will be our biggest ever, both on and off the water in San Francisco and online with our 24x7 support team strategically located around the world.

Expectations are running high at Sail-World to top the 2012 record audience number of 2.2 million unique visitors that visited Sail-World.com for their sailing news.

Sail-World last night it sent out its seventh newsletter dedicated to the America's Cup, with another 18+ America’s Cup newsletters written by the top America’s Cup journalists in the world to come, in all more than three million newsletters.

Richard Gladwell (RG), Sail-World’s America’s Cup Editor, and a big Sail-World team is delivering these special America’s Cup newsletters with exclusive stories, videos and interviews.

A former Int Umpire, and IT professional, RG, worked as a consultant to TVNZ in 1991-92, on the 3-D graphics project which under the auspices of Animation Research Ltd has become the internationally acclaimed Virtual Eye. Based in Auckland, but with an excellent network of contacts around the world he is constantly breaking news from the building America's Cup scene.

However Richard acknowledged that the all-star member on the Sail-World team is none other than the legendary Bob Fisher; a world authority on America’s Cup who will be based in San Francisco from the start of the Louis Vuitton series right thru until the end of the Cup in September.

Bob, the doyen of the world sailing media has been covering the America's Cup challenges since 1967 and as always he will be in thick of the action, with unrivalled access to all the players, covering breaking stories and sharing insightful analysis of the competitors, the boats, the racing and of course the politics. Bob’s third volume in his legendary America’s Cup An Absorbing Interest set will go to press just a few days after the Cup finishes.

Rob Kothe, the Sail-World founder and Publisher has been talking to many of the key players for AC34 for many years and is conducting in depth exclusive interviews with them as the action ramps up.

Over the last 15 years, Sail-World reports have contained images from the greatest yachting photographers and this Cup the tradition will continue.

And there will be no need to searching frantically as Sail-World will be running live, delayed and highlight vision from the Louis Vuitton, the Red Bull Series and the 34th America’s Cup as it becomes available.

To ensure sailors don't miss out on the action, we will be providing a dedicated Sail-World America's Cup browser toolbar, where our twitter feed,s our breaking news RSS feeds will provide instant alerts for serious sailors, as well as fast links for all the action in video, stills, audo and text reports..

Sail-World US Editor David Schmidt, West coast based, will provide extra angles and our UK and European based Editor Jedda Murphy and Florida based Anna Parker will ensure our coverage is 24x7.
