The international release of the Crownline 19 XS at the annual Melbourne Summer Boat Show recognises the Aussie contribution behind this stunning new bow rider.

The Crownline 19 XS could well be the most significant launch of 2013.

The new release Crownline is a big 5.79m (19’) bow rider. It is stylish with flowing lines further enhanced with a full cockpit length windshield. This is the ultimate in luxury with high end finish throughout.

Moreover the boat/motor/trailer package will sell for around $54,990 including bimini, covers and safety equipment with a Mercury 150hp four stroke outboard on the transom. This represents exceptional value with boaters receiving a powerful, top performing rig which is fully featured with appointments from bow to stern.

In development, the Crownline designers incorporated numerous design concepts sought by Australian distributor David Fraser.

'Australia is a significant market for Crownline,' said David Fraser. 'As a direct consequence of our long standing relationship with the Crownline factory, our input was keenly sought during the development of this new model. I was pleased to be involved in the design, testing of the prototype, and final development of the production boat.'

'The new Crownline 19 XS is a standout model and will prove to be a very popular model in our region.'

Designed into the Crownline 19 XS is a boat load of exceptional features. From a design standpoint, it features the very latest generation in boat styling.

In basic layout the Crownline designers have achieved the ultimate in providing a spacious seating section in the bow section, whilst also incorporating a huge wrap around rear lounge. And the storage, which is under all the seats, has to be seen to be fully appreciated.

Such is the advanced Crownline design, that there is even a portable/removable cooler which fits under the centre of the rear lounge. There is clip out carpet in the cockpit, a dedicated rope locker for ski ropes, and a purpose designed ski bin for water skis. Even the ski pole is removable, a brilliant feature which makes boating easy, comfortable and convenient.

Significant development has been lavished on the transom section of the hull. Coming back on board after a swim or a ski is easy thanks to the flip out four step SS boarding ladder, swim steps and walk through transom. The swim platform is finished with a soft touch mat.

At the helm, a fully appointed dash greets the driver. The steering wheel tilts for driver convenience and the premium smooth shift throttle and gear shift makes driving an absolute delight.

There is full instrumentation with dual oversize 125 mm dials. To the right of the steering wheel is space on the dash to fit an optional sounder/GPS unit.

Throughout the Crownline 19 XS is an incredible amount of SS hardware. This includes cup holders, grab handles, boarding ladder, pop up cleats and passenger grab handle.

While rated to carry outboards up to 175 hp, the Crownline 19 XS returns stunning performance with the new Mercury 150 hp four stroke engine. Top speed of 72 km/h is achieved with a 19' pitch prop. Acceleration is also impressive with the big hull up and planing in a snap, with 48 km/h being achieved in just 9 seconds.

'We are extremely pleased with the new Crownline 19 XS,' said David Fraser. 'This is a rig which is perfectly suited to the Australian market. It is a luxury sub 20’ bow rider with a price tag that will be a pleasant surprise for boating families.'

All Crownline boats sold new in Australia by an authorised Crownline dealer benefit from full factory support, factory warranty and technical support.

The first Crownline boats were manufactured in 1991, the original model to be produced being a mid range bow rider. Today the company operates from an expansive state-of-the-art manufacturing plant with the model range commencing at 5.5m and rounding out at 10.6m. All Crownline boats are backed by a comprehensive manufacturer’s warranty and uniquely provide an extra 3-year extended powertrain warranty, conditions apply.
