Laser North American Championships kick off loaded Cork season

Cork 2013 lines up an exciting start for the 2013 sailing season with the staging of Laser North American Championships on July 24 to 28 for the Laser Radial, 4.7 and Standard. The annual Cork events will officially kick off with Optimist Cork August 9 to 11 and then the Cork International.

Cork International will be U19 for Laser Standard and Radial (open to both male and females). Club 420, Laser 4.7 and 29ers will be open age events. August 17-21 will be Cork OCR, featuring 49er, 49erFX, Finn, 2.4m and Windsurfers.

This will also be the North American Grand Prix for Laser Standard and Radial (open). Cork One-Design will wrap up the August events August 23-25, featuring the soling class (other classes to be confirmed). Lastly, the season will finish with the Ontario Sailing Combine September 19-20, and the annual Fall Cork event, September 21-22 for Laser Standard, Laser Radial, Club 420, 29er and Optimist.

Registration for the annual Cork events is now open to volunteers and will be available to competitors soon! Mark your calendars and get ready for an exciting 2013 Cork 2013 website

J/105 Women's Invitational Regatta a success
Arbitrage team wins three-peat at St. Francis Yacht Club On May 11th, the St. Francis Yacht Club hosted nine teams for the 2024 SF Bay J/105 Women Skipper Invitational. PRO Gerard Sheridan and his RC team ran four action-packed races on the city-front course while Karl the Fog danced across the sky.
