Designed by Robert (Bob) Perry for Tatoosh Marine, Seattle, USA she combines the best of Far East fibreglass and joinery work, with exceptional American design and excellent equipment from the United States, Europe and New Zealand. She is a two-owner boat that has just completed a 41,000nm circumnavigation with her present owners. She is swift and comfortable – for example, the sellers completed the final leg of their journey, the 1250 miles from Tonga to Opua in 7 days and 1 hour, averaging 175nm per day. Most importantly she is a delightful home on the water. Heavily updated in 2002/3 including a new Yanmar 56HP engine, and maintained to a very high standard she sports a huge inventory and is just the ticket for some comfortable ocean cruising. All that is needed ahead of a new adventure is some food, water and perhaps a little fuel! http://www.busfieldmarine.co.nz/shop/Used+Yachts/From+12m+to+15m/Bob+Perry+designed+Tatoosh+42.html!Click_here to read more

This Amel Super Maramu ketch is lying in New Zealand and is ready to go on her next adventure. The quality and safety features of the boat are clearly evident. This design would arguably be one of the world's most successful designs. If you have never seen an Amel it is hard to appreciate the thought and consideration that has gone into her design. Built specifically to be a low maintenance world-cruising yacht, she is strongly and thoughtfully built with safety features such as the watertight collision bulkheads, the rigid dodger, the accessible engine room, and the huge amounts of storage both on deck and below. Simple, efficient and reliable are certainly qualities of the Amel Super Maramu but this yacht is far from simple. She is extensively equipped, elegantly finished out below and represents the very best in ocean-going cruising yachts. http://www.busfieldmarine.co.nz/shop/Used+Yachts/Over+15m/Y1504.html!LAVRANOS_56 – SEA ANGEL, 2004
The design brief for Odysseus was a seaworthy offshore yacht that was sporty, easy and fun to sail, provided an environment that facilitated companionship with crew and guests and was comfortable for extended cruising. It had to have plenty of storage so that there was no need to have cruising gear lashed on the deck, or salty damp articles stored in the cabins. It was important that the yacht was uncluttered and looked purposeful.
This was achieved after the 18 months project, carefully supervised by her owner, resulting in a boat of integrity that will serve all who sails her for many years. She has circumnavigated the globe in style and is ready to go again. http://www.busfieldmarine.co.nz/shop/Used+Yachts/Over+15m/Y1504.html!Click_here to read more
