Two of Australia’s biggest and best boating brands have announced their attendance at this year’s inaugural Rivergate International Boat show from October 5 to 7 on the Brisbane River.

Gold Coast based manufacturers Maritimo and Mustang will be bringing decades of experience in crafting superior vessels right here in Queensland.

On display will be the Maritimo 58 cruising motor yacht, one of the largest boats in the Maritimo collection and an embodiment of the company’s commitment to luxury and unparalleled engineering.

Also in attendance will be a Mustang 43 from Maritimo’s successful stable of sports cruisers, perfect for families wanting to get out on the water in style.

Maritimo Sales and Marketing Manager Greg Haines discussed the company’s decision to exhibit at Rivergate.

'When we heard about this new show we were naturally interested to see what was being offered to exhibitors,' Mr Haines explained.

'The fact that this show is on water is a huge draw card for us, as nothing really compares to being able to exhibit and experience a boat in its intended environment.

'In the current market it is vital that manufacturers take advantage of opportunities like this to reach new markets and build brand awareness.

'Rivergate will afford us direct access to Brisbane families, along with FIFO workers in the mines who are increasingly purchasing large boats for pleasure along the Queensland coast,' he concluded.

Rivergate International Boat show will bring together the best that life on the water has to offer, from marine accessories, jet skis, power and sail boats to luxury cruisers, superyachts, nautical fashion and a riverside seafood festival.

The event will have a distinctive family friendly flavour with on-site demonstrations, an international market place and a sea trial area where visitors can ‘try before they buy’.

The show is expected to attract in excess of 20,000 visitors over three spectacular Queensland spring days.
