2002 NSW Sailing Awards announcement

Casio watches, Musto Sailing Jackets and Holidays among the auction items at the NSW Sailing Awards night.

The NSW Sailing Awards, through the Yachting Association’s Sailing Foundation, raises funds for NSW Youth Sailors to attend international events.

Chairman of the organising committee, Chris Harper said “ We have some fantastic items to be auctioned on the night. In fact, the list contains some of the best ever that the awards have offered.”

Items to be auctioned include:

Casio watches

His and Her Musto/Line 7 Sailing Jackets

A weekend in the Hunter Valley

The SYD 6 Sail Number

A 72cm Colour TEAC television set

A half model timber boat and

An interior decorating package by the famous Marcia White and Porters Paints.

These and other fantastic items will be auctioned during the night's proceedings which will also feature the presentation of the 2002 NSW Sailing Awards and an interview with special guest, Grant Simmer.

The awards night will be held on Wednesday June 18th at the GPO at 1 Martin Place, Sydney.

Tickets to attend the awards and support the achievements of so many NSW sailors and associations can be purchased by contacting the YA of NSW.
