Hobies, Byte CI, Laser 4.7 and Optimists H2O Sports Academy Australia
The H2O Sports Academy Australia opened its doors to the first group of kids aged between 6 and 17 years for the first H2O Holiday Camp 12-19 January. Based within the impressive NSW Sport and Recreation Centre at Point Wolstoncroft on Lake Macquarie.

Every participant raved about the camp and claimed it was the best ever! Over the five days the group participated in a range of activities including; sailing, windsurfing, paddling, biking, swimming, tennis and beach valley ball.

The sailing levels ranged from learn to sail to proficient racers soaking up top tips from the instructors that included British Olympian, Laura Baldwin-Caldecoat who was a coach in the Australian Team at the 2012 Olympic Games. Sailing close to the shore in a range of dinghies including, Optimists, Byte CI, Laser 4.7's and Hobies. The favorite activity of the group was sailing the Hobie Cats across to Rafferty's Resort for well earned ice creams.

Every kid learned to windsurf with instruction from 4-times USA Olympic Windsurfer, Lanee Butler-Beashel. This gave all a great feeling of accomplishment and was a lot of fun.

The 3km trail to the end of Point Wolstoncroft passes through the beautiful National Park and creates a fun and picturesque 6km return adventure.

Bookings are open now for the H2O Easter Camps:
