The second regatta of the seventh season of the CRO M24 Cup will take place off Trogir this weekend. Organised by the Trogir Sailing Club, racing is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday. Weather permitting, a total of six races are planned.

Fourteen crews have entered the Trogir regatta, 13 of them from Croatia. The only international entry comes from Italy: the crew aboard the Melges 24 Akua, led by skipper Sergio Caramel. All of Croatia's top crews will be competing at the Trogir CRO Melges 24 Cup regatta. The favourites are the crew of Razjaren, the reigning European champion and winner of the Melges 24 European Sailing Series. The home waters will certainly be an advantage for the Mataran 24 crew, led by Ante Botica, while Panjic, skippered by Luka Šangulin, will also be among the contenders.

Four U25 crews will also be taking part: Skitnica (Ivan Juric), Otavic (Edo Fike), Joyrunner (Boris Tomic) and Panjic Jr. (Lucijan Jakovljev). Seven crews will compete in the Corinthian division.

Around 20 crews have taken part in almost all CRO M24 Cup regattas this year. The somewhat smaller fleet in Trogir comes as no surprise, given the timing and location of the event.

The Trogir CRO Melges 24 Cup regatta is the final Melges 24 event on the Croatian sailing calendar this year. The first regatta of next season is scheduled for mid-March, with the host venue to be announced shortly. Organisers expect an even larger fleet at next year's CRO M24 Cup events, as the season will culminate in the Melges 24 World Championship, which will be held in Pula from 29 May to 5 June.

The CRO Melges 24 Cup is organised in partnership with Luki Baustoffe, Angelina Yacht Charter, Sailing Point Croatia, North Sails, One Sails, digital studio Akvarij, Raiser digital agency, ProMarine, Dustom Sails and Smartmotion.
