The OptiOrange València 2027 is now open for entries for its ninth edition, which will take place from 4 to 7 March, with the aim of attracting 500 sailors and a strong international Optimist fleet.

The regatta, organised by the Real Club Náutico de Valencia, will be the final event of the 2026-2027 Optimist Excellence Cup.

The OptiOrange València 2027 has opened entries for its next edition, with the aim of attracting 500 sailors, a participation figure achieved in previous years, and welcoming national and international Optimist teams. The regatta will take place from 4 to 7 March in the waters off València and will be organised by the Real Club Náutico de Valencia.

The Valencian regatta will bring the 2026-2027 Optimist Excellence Cup to a close. The circuit comprises seven events hosted in Vigo, Palma, Gran Canaria, El Puerto de Santa María, Torrevieja, Palamós and València. The OptiOrange will therefore be the final event of the series, giving teams the opportunity to complete their participation in the circuit.

The sailing programme includes four days of racing. The qualifying series is scheduled for Thursday 4 and Friday 5 March, followed by the final series on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 March, in accordance with the schedule established by the organising authority.

The opening of entries marks the start of the call for clubs and teams wishing to compete in València in one of the international events on the Optimist sailing calendar. The organisers are targeting a large and competitive fleet, further strengthening the regatta's international profile and València's position on the youth sailing circuit.

Entries are now open via the official regatta website.
