New styles and colours, built to work with the inshore layering system and performance dinghy range
Zhik, the global high performance water sports brand trusted by Olympic and World
Champions, has announced new additions across its performance line-up. Some of Zhik's
most established ranges are broadened for the new season, with new layers, youth sizing
and new colourways across its wetsuits, the Daybreaker midlayer collection, Active PFD
flotation and Surge footwear.
The new pieces extend the inshore layering system, the performance dinghy line-up and
the Elements lifestyle collection.
Wetsuit range
Zhik's wetsuit range gains two new styles, both built utilising Zhik's well known and trusted
Superwarm® neoprene. The Superwarm® Performance Vest uses 3mm Superwarm®
insulation and a quick-dry internal fleece lining to hold heat across the torso while leaving
the shoulders and arms open.
The Youth Superwarm® Performance Top takes 3/2mm
Superwarm® neoprene, a quick-dry fleece lining and a 3D body-mapped fit into youth
sizing, giving developing sailors the warmth and freedom of movement built into Zhik's
performance wetsuit tops.
Daybreaker
The Daybreaker midlayer collection adds the Daybreaker Midlayer Gilet, a sleeveless
insulation layer built for core warmth, easy layering and freedom of movement.
It carries
Repreve® recycled insulation, a wind-resistant two-layer woven shell and a BIONIC-
FINISH® ECO PFAS-free Durable Water Repellency treatment, and pairs with the existing
Daybreaker Midlayer Jacket and Salopette.
The Men's and Women's Daybreaker Midlayer
Jacket range is also enhanced with a new stone colourway built to work on deck and
seamlessly transition ashore.
Active PFD
The popular Active PFD arrives in a new pink colourway, joined by the USCG Approved
Active PFD in the same colourway.
Certified to ISO 12402-5 with 50N of buoyancy, the
Active PFD pairs a front-zip entry with neoprene shoulder panels and elastic side panels for
a streamlined fit that stays in place, making it a dependable crossover buoyancy aid for
anyone getting on the water.
Surge
The innovative Surge Performance Race Shoe range, built to provide dependable grip in wet
marine environments, has been expanded. The Surge shoe pairs a side-ejection drainage
system with a hybrid rubber sole and sipping grooves for traction on slick, wet decks, and is
equally at home from the boat to everyday coastal wear.
Each addition has been developed and tested alongside Zhik's partnered athletes, teams
and associations, continuing an approach the brand has followed for more than two
decades.
