Managing race signals and communicating with competitors can require constant coordination — especially when multiple signals need to happen at precisely the right time.
The MarkSetBot Horn, VHF Broadcast, and Light System helps race committees simplify this process by automating signals and providing flexible ways to communicate with competitors on the water.
Developed with PROs, the Horn and VHF system can automate a complete starting sequence, including horns, broadcasted minute announcements, and a starting countdown for racers — while also giving the race committee a 10-second countdown before flags need to go up or down, helping keep the entire sequence on schedule.
The horn can also be used independently to remotely trigger signals and sequences from the Commander App for starts, course changes and race abandonment.
For visual signaling, the ultra-bright LED Light System provides another way to communicate important race information. The light automatically flashes when a Bot is moving and can also be triggered from the Commander App or programmed to flash at timed intervals. With seven configurable flash patterns, the light system is a great way to signal course changes, a starting pin reset, or even a finish line celebration.
All of this helps race committees automate critical signals, communicate clearly with competitors, and keep racing running smoothly — from the starting sequence to the finish. That's what we mean by race management, reimagined.
