There's a particular kind of magic to sailing between islands with nothing but open water and horizon ahead — and that's exactly the story ICARUS Sports set out to tell in its newly released promo video for the Aegean Regatta 2026.

Now celebrating its 25th edition, the Aegean Regatta remains one of the most distinctive point-to-point races in the Mediterranean. Running from 22 to 28 August 2026 under the organization of the General Secretariat of the Aegean and Island Policy, the fleet will trace a single, sweeping route across four islands — departing Chios, cutting through the heart of the Aegean, and finishing in Samos.

The new video leans into that sense of journey: crews battling shifting winds and open-water conditions, island communities turning out to welcome sailors ashore, and the kind of scenery that has made the Aegean a bucket-list destination for offshore racers. It's less a highlight reel than an invitation — to feel the distance, the exposure, and the reward of a race defined by the sea itself.
