RS Sailing is celebrating the RS Games 2026, its flagship quadrennial regatta, by giving sailors everywhere the chance to win a brand-new RS Zest in a free-to-enter global competition.

One lucky winner will take home one of RS Sailing's most popular and versatile dinghies. Designed for sailors of all ages and abilities, the RS Zest is equally at home introducing complete beginners to the sport, providing fun family sailing, withstanding heavy club use, or delivering enjoyable performance for more experienced sailors.

"We've got lots of exciting things happening at the RS Games for our amazing community of sailors," says Alex Newton-Southon, Managing Director of RS Sailing. "The RS Zest prize draw is our way of giving something back. The winner might enjoy it with their family, head off on summer adventures with friends, donate it to their local club or sailing centre, or finally take the step into sailing after thinking about it for years.

That's exactly why we chose the RS Zest. It's a genuine all-rounder that opens the door to sailing for so many different people."

Celebrating the RS Games 2026

The third edition of the RS Games takes place at Travemünder Woche in Germany from 16-26 July 2026, bringing together more than 900 sailors from across the RS Classes.

For the first time, the RS Games is being held outside the UK, making the event more accessible than ever for RS Sailing's growing European and international community.

Visitors to Travemünder Woche will also be able to experience the RS Zest first-hand, with demo sailing available from Priwall Beach throughout the festival. RS Sailing is inviting not only RS Games competitors, but also members of the public to get on the water and discover the boat for themselves.

Open to Sailors Everywhere

You don't need to attend the RS Games to enter the prize draw.

"In the spirit of inspiring more people onto the water, the competition really is open to everyone," adds Alex. "Simply complete the online entry form from anywhere in the world and you'll be entered into the draw. Then all that's left to do is keep your fingers crossed!"

How to Enter

Entering is simple. Complete the online entry form and sign up to the RS Sailing mailing list for your chance to win the RS Zest, which retails at €5,399.

Entries are open now and close at 23:59 on 31 July 2026.

One winner will be selected at random and contacted by email by 5 August 2026.

By entering, participants will also receive RS Sailing news, product updates, special offers and stories from the global RS community. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time.

More Than a Championship

The RS Games is much more than a multiclass regatta. It encompasses European and World Championships for RS Classes and it's a celebration of the sailors who make the RS family so special.

"We're incredibly fortunate to be part of a community that loves getting on the water, racing hard, supporting one another and making lifelong friendships," says Alex. "Events like the RS Games showcase everything that's great about our sport.

They also inspire new people to get involved. Visitors see the atmosphere, ask how they can start sailing, and that's where the RS Zest really shines. It's confidence-inspiring, low-maintenance and incredibly versatile - making it the perfect boat for someone to begin their own sailing journey."

The RS Zest giveaway is one of several initiatives celebrating the RS Games 2026 and RS Sailing's commitment to growing the sport.
