ILCA Asian Cup 2026 Qinhuangdao concluded successfully on 15th June with eight races sailed in a variety of wind and weather conditions.

The final race results saw sailors across the different ILCA Asian districts cinching their positions on the podium in five divisions and five sub-categories.

The first prize winners of the ILCA 4 Youth U18 Boys & Girls also win for themselves free entry and free boat charter for ILCA 4 division in the ILCA Oceania Championships to be held in January 2027 in Sandringham Melbourne. This is an exchange programme between ILCA Oceania and ILCA Asia Regions, where the Oceania Champions of ILCA 4 boys and girls from the 2026 edition will join the 6th ILCA Asian & Open Championships this December with a similar free entry and free charter boat arrangement.

ILCA Asian Cup also features a group prize for the Best Performing ILCA Asian District and Best Performing ILCA Asian Club. For this event, the winners are:

  • ILCA Asian District Cup - CHN
  • ILCA Asian Club Cup - TPE

The four-day ILCA Asian Cup has set the stage for Qinhuangdao as host of the 2027 ILCA 4 Youth World Championships. Participants can also come to join the 2027 ILCA Asian Summer Training Camp and ILCA Asian Cup 2027 QHD prior to the Worlds.

See you next year again in Qinhuangdao!
