Sunreef 100 Eco: a different kind of superyacht

by Sunreef Yachts 18 Jun 07:05 PDT

Sunreef Yachts has launched the first Sunreef 100 Eco, a groundbreaking sailing catamaran that combines electric propulsion, advanced solar power technology, and the freedom of sailing to redefine the superyacht experience.

Designed for owners seeking exceptional comfort, range and energy independence, she represents a major step forward in sustainable yachting.

Powered by innovation

The Sunreef 100 Eco features twin 360kWh electric engines, a 770kWh battery bank, and Sunreef Yachts' proprietary solar power system. Solar panels seamlessly integrated into the hulls, superstructure, and bimini continuously generate clean energy while preserving the yacht's sleek profile.

Commissioned by a returning Sunreef superyacht owner, the project reflects a growing interest in innovative technologies that enhance the cruising experience without compromising luxury, comfort, or performance.

Life on board

Designed for extended voyages, the Sunreef 100 Eco offers spacious guest accommodations and generous indoor and outdoor living areas. A vast Ocean Lounge creates a seamless connection with the sea, while a large garage, dive locker, and dedicated toy storage provide ample space for watersports equipment.

Next stop: Monaco

Following her launch, the yacht now enters the final outfitting phase ahead of sea trials and her world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show.

"With the Sunreef 100 Eco, we are proving that the future of superyachting can be both luxurious and responsible." said Francis Lapp, Founder and President of Sunreef Yachts. "Combining electric propulsion, solar power, and the efficiency of sailing, this yacht sets a new benchmark for clean cruising."

With the launch of the first Sunreef 100 Eco, Sunreef Yachts continues to expand its portfolio of sustainable luxury catamarans, offering owners new ways to explore the world's most remarkable destinations.
