Day 5 of the 2026 International Moth European Championship delivered a full and demanding race day at Club Nàutic l'Escala, with four races completed on the Mar d'Empúries.

After a light and uncertain start with marginal winds, conditions improved significantly by midday, allowing racing to get under way and continue at a strong pace. With rising breeze, high temperatures and long hours on the water, the day proved physically demanding for the fleet, testing both performance and endurance.

Enzo Balenguer maintains the overall lead with consistent results throughout the championship, followed by Ryan Littlechild and John Harris, as the leaderboard tightens and the event moves into its final and most decisive phase.
