IRC European Championships open the International Paint Poole Regatta 2026

by Poole Regatta 22 May 22:07 PDT 22-25 May 2026

Starting their Bank Holiday Weekend early, the International Paint Poole Regatta 2026 is hosting the IRC Europeans, with racing taking place in Poole Bay. The high pressure system which is set to bathe the UK in sunshine this weekend joined the fleet, making for light wind racing.

After racing the crews gathered for a dock party, celebrating in the evening sunshine. Paul Wyeth was on hand to capture all the action.

The rest of the classes are set to join in the fun today, with course areas in both in Poole Harbour and Poole Bay.
