Ensign Yachts are proud to deliver the first J/36 in Australia to its lucky new owner in Melbourne. She is currently undergoing her sea trials which are showing the performance capabilities of this impressive yacht. The Ensign team will be hosting a viewing of this exciting new yacht down at Sandringham Yacht Club in Melbourne on the 19th April 2026.
The J/36 is the evolution of the much-loved J/112E, a design that's been winning hearts and silver around the world since launching in 2016: Double winner of the ORC World Championship, Winner of the ORC European Championship, Winner of the IRC European Championship and much more. The new name comes with a new deck plan, new cockpit, and J/40-inspired styling to provide more cruising comfort and sailing versatility to meet the needs and expectations of today's sailing family. With the NEW J/36, legendary performance meets true cruising comfort in a modern 36-footer that's easy to sail and easy to own.
