Emirates Team New Zealand has announced a new partnership with historic Italian mineral water brand Ferrarelle, which joins the team as an Official Sponsor in the lead-up to the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup.

In a dual partnership announced at the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, Ferrarelle has been named the Official Water of the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup and an Official Sponsor of the Defender, Emirates Team New Zealand. This collaboration marks the first time Ferrarelle has joined the world’s oldest sailing competition, which will see the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup held in the Gulf of Naples in July 2027.

The partnership brings together two entities, the best in their respective fields, defined by technological innovation, extreme performance, and a deep-rooted maritime culture. As part of the agreement, the Ferrarelle logo will be prominently displayed on the main sail of the team’s AC40 boats and on Taihoro, the 2024 AC75 winner recently re-launched in Auckland for the Naples 2027 campaign.

“Partnering with Ferrarelle is an honour for the team,” said Grant Dalton, CEO of Emirates Team New Zealand. “From the moment we first started talking, they have impressed us with their commitment to sustainability and the environment. For the America’s Cup event, it’s another milestone as we integrate with Italian business in the host country, and for the team, we are delighted to welcome them on the journey to Naples.”

Beyond the racecourse, the partnership is built on shared values regarding environmental responsibility and material innovation. Ferrarelle, a "Società Benefit," operates an industrial model focused on sustainability and the protection of natural resources, such as its volcanic aquifers in Riardo.

Carlo Pontecorvo, President of Ferrarelle Società Benefit, noted the strategic importance of the collaboration: "Water is our origin and our distinctive asset: seeing it take centre stage in the sea of Naples reinforces the consistency between our industrial positioning, our international projection and the responsibility we exercise towards the territory."

The partnership will follow Emirates Team New Zealand through a rigorous 16 month schedule in its quest to defend the America’s Cup for the fourth time in a row. To celebrate the partnership with Emirates Team New Zealand and the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup, Ferrarelle will also release a limited edition bottle dedicated to the competition.

About Ferrarelle Founded in 1893, Ferrarelle is one of Italy's historic mineral water brands. It flows from the springs of Riardo (CE) and is a naturally effervescent mineral water, the result of a unique underground journey lasting over thirty years, during which it is naturally enriched with minerals and carbon dioxide, defining its distinctive and balanced profile.

A benchmark in the mineral water sector, Ferrarelle is consistently ranked first in terms of spontaneous awareness among Italian consumers (Source: Kantar, Brand Equity Monitoring 2025). An excellence that combines history, quality and industrial vision, an authoritative interpreter of Italian production tradition.
