Henri-Lloyd Introduces the Next Generation of Thermal Waterproof Protection

Henri-Lloyd has launched its SmartTherm PRO range, a unisex mid-layer system which provides warmth and comfort through its body-mapped design. This innovative feature helps regulate temperature providing targeted insulation with breathability where it's most needed. Unlike most other mid-layer systems, SmartTherm PRO is waterproof, using 20K* DWR waterproof outer fabric for full protection from waves and rain.
Designed in conjunction with IMOCA winner Sam Goodchild, the SmartTherm PRO has been crafted to withstand the ultimate test for anyone on the water, whether offshore racing, long distance cruising, day sailing or racing.

SmartTherm PRO is lightweight and non-bulky. Made with Henri-Lloyd's DRI PRO™ 2-layer technology, the 100% recycled nylon ripstop fabric features a PFOA- and PFC-free hydrophilic PU membrane, offering superior waterproof and breathable performance. Laser-perforated VIVO Ocean insulation adds 30% more breathability for effective warmth and ventilation in a sustainable design.
Innovative use of glued seams reduce weight and improve flexibility. The ergonomic design of the jacket, gilet and salopettes include stretch panels and soft-touch linings which enable freedom of movement with next-to-skin comfort, essential for extended periods of wear. The low-profile design with compact and effective insulation enables SmartTherm PRO to fit easily under outer shell jackets and salopettes.
The SmartTherm PRO range includes a fully-featured jacket with YKK® AquaGuard® waterproof zip with inner wind guard flap and fleece lined pockets. Reflective logos and strips on the body, sleeves and pockets ensure visibility in low light conditions. The hem and cuffs feature soft stretch bindings for a snug fit. The H-hangar on the back enables the jacket to be safely hung from a hook and will not tear if grabbed for support.
The SmartTherm PRO Gilet also features stretch panels with body mapping to provide the warmth and protection where needed. It is ideal for on-deck wear, as a stand-alone piece or for layering. The YKK® AquaGuard® zip and waterproof fabric enables users to stay warm and dry, while zipped side pockets provide comfort for hands and security for belongings.
The waterproof
SmartTherm EVO Salopettes offer the same high level of intelligent body mapping combined with breathability in this versatile mid-layer garment, which will prove to be a much-worn garment for most sailors, day and night.
The salopettes feature glued seams to reduce bulk, eliminate water entry, increase comfort and allow easy movement. Targeted insulation zones with VIVO Ocean recycled padding and laser-cut ventilation boost breathability by 30%. Lycra panels on the shoulders with softshell inserts at the knees ensure flexibility, making them ideal for easy manoeuvres on deck or comfort whilst worn under outer shell salopettes.
Available in distinctive black/navy, the Unisex SmartTherm PRO range is available in sizes XS to 2XL. Prices range from £275 for the Unisex Jacket; £195 for the Gilet and £310 for the Salopettes.
