For many cruising sailors, the Isles of Scilly are a firm favourite. With clear turquoise water, sheltered anchorages, white sand beaches and an abundance of plants and wildlife, they offer an experience that feels far removed from the mainland.

Located just 28 miles off the tip of Cornwall, this archipelago of islands, rocks and skerries is one of the most rewarding cruising grounds in the South West. It does, however, require careful preparation. A successful passage depends on planning, good decision-making and the right weather window.

For this upcoming free webinar, our guest speaker is Robin Baron, President of the Cruising Association and, importantly for this webinar, South West England Regional Editor for the Cruising Almanac. Drawing on extensive first-hand experience, Robin will share practical insights into passage planning, pilotage and making the most of your time among the islands.
