The Australian Sailing Team (AST) is proud to announce a new one-year partnership with Dr Woof, an innovative Australian brand dedicated to performance, recovery and wellbeing.

The partnership will see Dr Woof become an Official Supplier of the AST for the next 12 months, supporting athletes across Olympic classes with premium compression socks designed to enhance circulation, aid recovery and optimise performance during short and long-haul air travel.

High-performance sailing demands endurance, strength and resilience. With long training blocks, international travel and back-to-back competition schedules, recovery plays a critical role in maintaining peak condition. Dr Woof's scientifically designed Bamboo Compression Socks will provide AST athletes with targeted support to assist muscle recovery, reduce fatigue and promote overall comfort as they move from one event to the next.

AST High Performance Director Iain Brambell OLY welcomed the partnership. "Recovery is a vital component of performance at the highest level," Brambell said. "Having the support of Dr Woof ensures our athletes have access to quality compression socks that can assist them in their recovery and preparation during the many hours they spend in the air each year."

A proudly Australian company, Dr Woof were well known for their innovative medical scrubs before they moved into compression socks. The socks brought the same standard of comfort to tired legs and long days, with bamboo rich yarns, supportive structure and a gentle feel all becoming part of their signature.

Dr Woof Apparel Co-Founder Ron See said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to excellence.

"We're very excited to partner with the Australian Sailing Team, a group of athletes who embody resilience, precision, and the pursuit of excellence. At Dr. Woof Apparel, we believe in supporting those who push boundaries and inspire others to dream big," See said.

"Athletes like the Australian Sailing Team remind us that peak performance comes from a combination of passion, preparation, and the right tools. We're honoured to play a small part in their journey by providing gear that helps them perform at their best."

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to high performance, innovation and Australian excellence, with both organisations focused on supporting athletes in pursuit of podium success on the world stage.
