At Boot Dusseldorf 2026——world's largest yacht and water sports fair, Beneteau presented a world-tier display of 19 models including two World Premieres——the First 60 and the First 36 SE, and one International Debut——the Gran Turismo 50, underscoring its strategy put forward by Groupe Beneteau: to invest and accelerate innovation to support demand.

While still savoring the great victory of the First 30, BENETEAU Sailing Yachts presented the crème de la crème fleet at this year’s show including hosting two World Premieres and celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Oceanis range.
|
|
|
The highly-awaited FIRST 60 was finally revealed at Boot Dusseldorf, the biggest and most advanced FIRST ever launched by Beneteau. Designed for sailors who seek more than performance, it embodies a state of mind—one of connection, balance, and embracing the deep, exhilarating pleasure of being on the water.
Among its stand out innovations, the FIRST 60 features a captive mainsheet winch that delivers effortless, precise mainsail control, along with adaptive steering ergonomics shaped around the sailor’s natural posture for a more intuitive feel at the helm. The walk-around Winch Island centralizes all running rigging to ensure secure, seamless operations, while the Park Avenue boom makes hoisting and lowering the mainsail remarkably simple. The FIRST 60 also stands alone as the only yacht in her size category offering dedicated, purpose-built cockpit zones for Relaxation, Dining, and Sailing.

The First 36 SE is already a winner, taking podium spots in the ORC Double Handed World Championship in Italy and the Transpac race in 2025. Boot Düsseldorf was its first boat show exhibition.
This ultimate planing racer, is born from the collaboration between BENETEAU and Seascape. It is 400 kg lighter than before. This lower displacement, combined with a redesigned bow knuckle, shortens the waterline and decreases the wetted surface area by nearly 3 m², resulting in improved acceleration and even greater high-speed planing joy. Refined cockpit ergonomics: Twin steering wheels are replaced by a responsive tiller for direct, intuitive control, creating an ergonomic helmsman position. As for the features, the First 36 SE now comes standard with flush racing valves, an e-bar to fine-tune tiller angle adjustment, and a carbon rig to further enhance performance

BENETEAU'S PRESENCE AT THAILAND INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

Positioned as a luxury lifestyle event for fully immersive yachting experience, the Thailand International Boat Show 2026 successfully wrapped up on January 18th. Our partner in the Kingdom Primus Marine represented Beneteau at the show and displayed two models on-site.
For sailing yacht, we showcased the Oceanis 40.1, offering unrivalled deck volume and interior space with great performance at sea. For dayboat, the highly-popular Antares 11 Fly focusing on space, comfort and safety was being exhibited. Great job on the beautiful display by the Primus Marine team!

TEAM BENETEAU BRAVES THE WAVES AT ROYAL LANGKAWI INTERNATIONAL REGATTA

The 22nd edition of the Royal Langkawi International Regatta concluded on January 24th after a week of ideal wind and sunshine in the Andaman Sea, drawing an impressive fleet of 34 boats, comprising 250 sailors and skippers from 12 different nations.
We are excited to see the proud faces of Beneteau’s dealer in South Korea——Yacht Master led by Kim walking onto the podium by winning the overall 3rd place competing the Langkawi Sports Challenge Trophy and the 1st place on Day 3 race in the Sports Boat category.
This time, the classic Beneteau Platu 25 was steered—a racing sailboat ideal for daily sailing, teaching, and competition—the team showcased superior tactics and boat handling over five days of intense battles on the water. Prior to these great results in Langkawi, the team also secured the overall win in the ORC I Class at the Korea Turtleship Cup Yacht Race 2025 in November while sailing the Figaro Beneteau 3.
Congratulations to everyone involved, and a big thank you for promoting Beneteau sportsmanship across the waters of the APAC region!

Around The Island Race 2025 — a much celebrated and prestigious regatta on Hong Kong’s annual sailing calendar, took place on December 13th, 2025, attracting the attendance of over 220 boats of all sizes. It was a great pleasure to witness the strength and energy showcased by our local Beneteau sailing community with over 40 Beneteau sailing yachts taking part.
We extend our congratulations to all the sailors, especially the crews of the eight Beneteau sailboats that achieved podium finishes in their subcategories — simply completing this challenging course is an accomplishment in itself. Our gratitude also goes to ASIAMARINE — Beneteau’s sailboat dealer in Hong Kong for introducing our latest models into the city and fostering an even stronger local community bond.
Over the years, the Beneteau sailboats are significant presences at regattas and sailing events in our region. The classic models like the First 40.7 withstand the test of the time, demonstrating steady performance and competence while new models like the First 30 and First 36 bring sailing pleasure and sensations into new levels, exceeding expectations.

THE STRONG SALES RESILIENCE OF THE OCEANIS RANGE IN APAC

We are excited to announce that our region’s first Oceanis 47 is expected to arrive in Japan in February. She will make her APAC premiere in March at the Japan International Boat Show. According to Yacht Master in South Korea, the country’s 6th Oceanis 40.1 has just arrived.
