Propspeed, a leader in underwater biocide-free, foul-release coatings, announced its products have received endorsement from Cranchi Yachts and will be standard on models 62-feet and above.

After a series of rigorous testing, renowned Italian yacht builder, Cranchi Yachts, will be applying Propspeed's biocide free, foul-release coating systems as a standard feature of its models 62-feet and larger, including the flagship Settantotto 78. Yachts in this model range will now have Propspeed applied to Volvo IPS propellers, Lightspeed™ applied to underwater lighting, and the newly launched Foulfree™ Multi-Surface applied to Humphree stabilizing fins and interceptors. Additionally, the underwater protection from Propspeed is available by customer request for other Cranchi Yachts models, ranging from 26-feet to 46-feet in length.

"Propspeed's foul-release coatings support long-term performance while also reflecting our commitment to reducing environmental impact below the waterline, giving owners and operators added peace of mind," said Cranchi Yachts.

"We're grateful for the trust placed in our products from some of the most respected yacht builders across the world, like Cranchi Yachts," said Davide Burrini, EMEA Sales Director, Propspeed. "At Propspeed, we pride ourselves on developing foul-release systems that protect vessels below the waterline while also safeguarding our shared playground — the ocean — by improving efficiency and helping reduce carbon emissions. We're confident that Cranchi owners and operators will value cleaner protection that keeps their yachts performing smoothly."

Cranchi Yachts, founded and led by the Cranchi family, has been building yachts in Italy since 1870 and has partnered with the Monzino family since 1970. For more than 150 years, Cranchi Yachts has been at the forefront of building with cutting-edge materials and technologies high quality, beautiful vessels, that deliver excellent performance, reliability and extended safety standards.

Propspeed's product lineup includes Propspeed for running gear and underwater metals, Foulfree Multi-Surface System for non-metal substrates, Lightspeed for underwater lighting, and Stripspeed®, a foul-release coating remover. Foulfree Multi-Surface System provides foul-release protection across a wide range of components and vessel types, from RIBs and center consoles to cruisers and pleasure yachts.
