Exciting news from Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club and the GP14 Class Association!

Just days after the publication of the Notice of Race, ninety boats have already entered the GP14 World Championships, to be held this August.

Event Director Gerry Reid commented: "The response has been phenomenal. With the Notice of Race only published last Friday and ninety boats already entered, we're absolutely thrilled. With a maximum fleet of one hundred boats, entries are filling fast."

That means only ten places remain before the entry cap is reached. A reserve list for a further ten boats will be opened once the fleet is full. As always, places will be allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

Competitors are expected from across the globe, with many top-class sailors already signed up, promising a truly world-class championship. Racing will take place from 8-14 August 2026 on the superb waters of Belfast Lough, hosted by the Royal North of Ireland Yacht Club.

Don't miss out — secure your place now.
