Marine Resources Opens Industry Salary Survey

by Marine Resources 13 Nov 04:41 NZDT

Marine Resources has opened the third edition of its Marine Industry Salary & Employment Survey - the UK's most comprehensive insight into pay, benefits and employment trends across the marine and maritime sectors.

This trusted survey is designed to capture the realities of today's workforce, drawing input from professionals and employers across leisure, superyacht, maritime and commercial marine industries. From Marine Trades, Engineering & Design to Sales, Marketing and Operations, the survey explores the full spectrum of roles that power the sector with every response helping to build a clear picture.

Now firmly established as the leading benchmark for pay and employment data in the UK marine industry, the Marine Resources survey provides valuable intelligence for both businesses and individuals. It helps companies strengthen recruitment and retention strategies while enabling professionals to understand their market value and make informed career decisions.

In addition to collecting responses from individuals, Marine Resources will also be working directly with marine businesses to gather confidential salary and role data, ensuring an even more accurate and representative picture of the market. All information shared will remain strictly confidential. Companies interested in contributing are encouraged to reach out to the marine resources team to get involved.

"Our aim is to create a clear and independent snapshot of where the industry stands today," said James Ward, Managing Director at Marine Resources. "By gathering insights from every corner of the marine and maritime world, we can better understand the opportunities and challenges shaping our sector."

All responses are completely anonymous and all company data is confidential. The findings will form the basis of the 2026 Salary & Employment Report, which will be published early in 2026.

Marine Resources invites everyone working in the marine and maritime sectors to take part and contribute to this vital piece of industry research.
