52m M/Y Tamasha launched - the first of Bilgin's 170 Series

by Bilgin Yachts 24 Oct 01:33 PDT

Crowning a new era, Bilgin Yachts announces the spectacular launch of M/Y Tamasha, the flagship of the innovative 52-meter series. With naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design and interiors by Hot Lab, she blends a bold masculine profile with refined detailing that speaks to contemporary elegance.

Straight off the glamour of the Monaco Yacht Show, where M/Y Camila welcomed a remarkable number of guests onboard, Bilgin Yachts seamlessly transitions to its next significant achievement. The shipyard is delighted to announce the launch of M/Y Tamasha, the first hull in the much-anticipated 52-meter Bilgin 170 series.

Tamasha represents a bold evolution in design, born from a creative synergy between the shipyard and the yacht owner. The vessel's powerful naval architecture and striking exterior are the work of Unique Yacht Design, featuring a bolder bow and a sporty, athletic silhouette. Her interiors, masterfully conceived by Hot Lab, are a sanctuary of contemporary elegance, where expansive volumes and natural light create a timeless atmosphere of sophisticated comfort.

The yacht introduces a distinctive aesthetic, highlighted by a unique light brown hull, a first for the shipyard. Emrecan Özgün of Unique Yacht Design commented on the bespoke philosophy:

"The vision for Tamasha was to create a yacht that is both a personal statement and a social hub. Her distinctive light brown hull was chosen to create a stunning, organic harmony with the water. Every line and space was designed in direct response to the owner's lifestyle, prioritizing expansive areas for entertainment and socializing, and ensuring that life onboard is intimately connected to the sea."

Tugba Sengün Topgül, Marketing Director of Bilgin Yachts, shared her excitement during the event: "The ceremony was a deeply proud moment for the entire Bilgin family. It was absolutely Tamasha's day, and to see her touch the water with such grace and grandeur was a testament to the passion and hard work of our team. This event wasn't just a launch; it was the beginning of her story." Echoing this sentiment, Berkay Yilmaz, the shipyard's Commercial Director, emphasized the collective effort behind the build, stating, "This great result would not have been possible without every single member of our team."

The yacht's steel hull and aluminum superstructure provide a foundation of strength and performance, while her design philosophy centers on a lifestyle-driven experience. With seamless transitions between her vast indoor and outdoor social areas, Tamasha is engineered for both intimate relaxation and grand entertaining.

The project's success is a testament to a deeply collaborative and meticulous build process. Nikolay Kondratiev, the owner's representative, stated: "This was one of the best projects in my life in terms of cooperation with the yard's team. A high level of proficiency and responsibility of workers, supported by a great corporate working culture and reliable top management, allowed us to deliver the client the best yacht Bilgin has ever built on their fifty-meter platform."

Following her launch, M/Y Tamasha stayed at the West Istanbul Marina for her final outfitting. Her launch marks the beginning of a dynamic period of growth for the shipyard. The 52-meter series has been met with exceptional market enthusiasm, with six additional hulls already in various stages of production, including advanced models. Alongside this successful series, Bilgin's robust order book includes an 86-meter yacht, a new 80-meter project, and four units of a brand-new 53-meter model, underscoring the brand's powerful forward momentum.
