After a calm lay day and media sessions on Day 4, all eyes were locked on the fifth and final day of the Freestyle Pro Tour Naxos.
With the wind refusing to build strong enough for fin freestyle, the spotlight shifted entirely onto tow-in — the last opportunity for riders to perform and wrap up the 2025 season in spectacular fashion.
Throughout the week, over 35 competitors had battled it out behind the ski, showcasing explosive creativity and consistency. By Day 5, the field had been narrowed down to just three men and three women, each one ready to push the limits in front of an excited Naxos crowd.
The women's final opened with a 30-minute practice session that set the tone for what was to come. Maaike Huvermann immediately raised the bar, stomping a clean double air rotation off the kicker — proof once again that she remains the only woman consistently landing Burner 360s in competition. Lisa Kloster went all-in with massive Cana Brava attempts, while Ziva Batis showed her hand with Air Bob attempts and Funnells, confirming just how much progression the women's fleet has made this season.
The final itself was run in a high-stakes format: four runs, with only one move counting — pure all-or-nothing.
The first round saw all three riders going full send but coming just short of the landing. With the scores tight and tension building, Huvermann came back determined to push her lead further in round two. Spotting a promising wave, she went for another Burner 360, but the kicker arrived a split second early, throwing off her timing. What followed was a heavy crash, leaving Maaike in pain and holding her shoulder. She was forced to retire from the final — an unfortunate and emotional end to an otherwise brilliant season.
With Huvermann out, the showdown continued between Lisa Kloster and Ziva Batis. Both riders put down clean Funnells to secure solid scores, but in round three, Kloster found the perfect line and landed her Funnell with full commitment and control — a move that would prove to be the winner. Her earlier Cana Brava attempt didn't land, but it showed clear intent to push the sport forward, following in the footsteps of riders like Foivos Tsoupras who helped pioneer that trick on tour. Ziva landed Funnells of her own, but the judges unanimously agreed that Lisa's landings were cleaner - giving her the victory in the end.

As the women's competition wrapped up, the energy around the lagoon only grew stronger — it was time for the men's super final.
The three remaining riders were Japan's Takumi Moriya, the Netherlands' Tigo Kort, and Belgium's Yentel Caers all of whom had shown world-class moves throughout the week.
When Yentel is on the tow-in track, you know what's coming. The Belgian started his final with a flawless Air Funnell-Funnell-Burner combo, followed by a Burner 360 off the wave. But the highlight came when he launched into his signature move — the Double Air Culo — spinning perfectly through both rotations and landing clean. It was the move of the day, earning him a perfect 10 from the judges and another Tow-In victory to his name.
Takumi Moriya put on one of his strongest tow-in performances to date, landing a triple Funnell and a big Burner 360 off the kicker — stylish, controlled, and powerful. Despite his best effort, the Japanese rider couldn't quite match Yentel's perfection.
Meanwhile, Tigo Kort, who had dominated earlier rounds, struggled to find his rhythm in the final. A clean Burner 360 gave him a respectable score, but crashes on the Double Air Culo attempts kept him from challenging for the top spots.

Earlier in the week, a Foilstyle Super Session was held in light winds — and it didn't disappoint. Lennart Neubauer took the win with a powerful display of style and control, highlighted by a massive shifty that left the beach cheering. Yentel Caers followed in second while Dudu Levi, competing in his first-ever foil event, impressed everyone to round off the podium in third.

With the Tow-In wrapped up and no official fin results due to light winds, the event — and the 2025 Freestyle Pro Tour season — came to a close. The atmosphere at the prize-giving was electric as riders celebrated not only the winners of the day, but also the champions who had defined the season across all disciplines.
