Get ready to STIR up the fun! Entry is now open for the 2026 St. Thomas International Regatta (STIR), set for April 3-5, 2026.
This is the place to be for world-class racing, and the chance to trade tacks and tactics with professional crews as well as with weekend warriors who have sailed year-round in anticipation of besting fellow competitors. What's more, enter too for the Round the Rocks Race (RTR) , which circumnavigates the neighboring island of St. John on April 2, 2026. RTR is a terrific opportunity to tune up for STIR and provides an additional chance to land a podium finish at the prize-giving. Add the one-stop venue at the St. Thomas Yacht Club (STYC), with its quintessential Caribbean beachfront vibe, and organizers 'can-do' attitude toward competitors, and it's easy to see how STIR earned its motto, 'We Love It Here.' You will too!
"Sailors can look forward to the best in handicap and one-design racing on round-the-islands and round-the-buoy courses professionally set by some of the best race management in the world. In 2026, we will host the second annual IC24 Caribbean Championship as part of STIR. This top-quality racing we match with friendliness, hospitality, and an equally popular club-run event ashore," says Pat Bailey, who co-directs STIR 2026 with Greer Scholes. "As we like to say, 'We Love It Here,' and we invite you to enter now and race with us in March."
Entry is Open - Early Discount Available
