Barcolana 57 (the famous Regata in Trieste, Italy) for everyone and by everyone with Sea4All initiatives by Tiliaventum. Crew sailing in Trieste from October 5 to 11 and Regatta on Sunday 12 aboard accessible boats... when the sea, sun, wind, sport, sailing, and celebration are for everyone and by everyone.

On October 12, Trieste (NE Italy) will host Barcolana, the world's largest historic international regatta, now in its 57th edition, a celebration of the city, the sea, sailing, wind, and sports, open to everyone thanks to the many initiatives on land and at sea (from the Eurosaf Inclusive Championship-Parasailing from October 2 to 5, to many other events) that aim to make it increasingly inclusive.

As has been the case for decades, there will also be inclusive crews from Sea4All by Tiliaventum, the sports association based in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Italy) that promotes and organizes sporting activities at sea throughout the year without physical, mental, or economic barriers—the activities are free for participants—and involve people with disabilities (physical, sensory, intellectual-relational), discomfort, fragility, and terminal illness, together with so-called able-bodied people.

Sea4All by Tiliaventum will be at the starting line on Sunday, the 12th, with various boats, including Càpita, the 9.50-meter daysailer, which is accessible and high-performance and on which it is possible, among other things, to board, steer, and maneuver with your own manual or electric wheelchair for those who use one, actively, independently, and as protagonists thanks to innovative non-invasive solutions, aids, and features created with the Universal Design project.

Sea4All will also be present with a stand at the Barcolana Village on the shores of Trieste opposite Piazza Unità d'Italia from October 8 to 12, where the staff will be joined by active volunteers from CSM Gorizia Mental (Ill mental Center) and ANFASS Udine, ready to welcome everyone and provide information about barrier-free activities, work integration experiences, and projects carried out with partners, including DiversamenteDOC (come and visit us to find out for yourself what it's all about), the opportunities offered by the region in terms of accessibility, particularly in terms of sports and experiences, and the latest solutions, measures, equipment, aids, facilities, and procedures for enjoying the sea, wind, sailing, and other sports, or even for enjoying peaceful moments of socializing.

The Càpita sailboat will be open to visitors for the occasion and, as per the Barcolana57 events calendar, free inclusive sailing trips will be available in the Gulf of Trieste from October 8 to 11 (mornings and afternoons) upon reservation (on site at the Sea4All stand or by emailing ).
