SOS Yachting, Europe's leading provider of fiscal representation services for superyacht charters, has signed an exclusive partnership with Verventia, Thailand's first officially recognised fiscal representation company for foreign-flagged superyachts chartering in Thai waters.

The collaboration combines SOS Yachting's long-standing expertise in VAT and fiscal compliance with Verventia's local knowledge and market presence. Together, the companies will ensure that superyacht owners, managers, and charter stakeholders can operate in Thailand with full legal and fiscal transparency.

"Thailand is now one of the world's most attractive winter destinations, and the government has moved quickly to adopt tax structures that give owners and charterers confidence," said Andy Treadwell, CEO of Verventia. "Working exclusively with SOS Yachting means every charter in Thailand can be handled with transparency, tax efficiency, and legal security."

The partnership supports foreign-flagged superyachts operating under Thailand's Superyacht Charter License scheme (SCL), which allows foreign yachts over 30m (expected to be lowered to 24m) to charter legally without import duties.

Frédéric Dormeuil, CEO of SOS Yachting, added "Our clients value certainty and clarity. Partnering with Verventia lets us extend the same confidence we bring to Europe into Asia, making Thailand not only a stunning destination but also a compliant and rewarding one for superyacht owners and charterers worldwide."

Key client benefits:

  • Fully legal superyacht chartering in Thailand thanks to Verventia's official status as Thai Fiscal Representative for foreign superyachts
  • Access to Verventia's trusted local connections and expertise
  • With Thailand's doors now open to foreign charter superyachts, charterers gain access to one of the most exciting, diverse, and unexplored yachting playgrounds on earth
  • Transparent invoicing in EUR or USD with filings in Thai Baht
  • Full operational support covering APA, crew, customs, and immigration
