Aquila Power Catamarans today announces the appointment of Sergio Loiacono as its Regional Sales Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to support the company's growing dealer network and strengthen its presence across the region.

Sergio brings over 20 years of marine industry experience around the world. After graduating from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, Sergio spent several years in Asia where he notably captained yachts and held a senior yacht broker position with Simpson Marine amongst other responsibilities. Moving back to Europe in 2019, Sergio has carried out various consulting missions in the nautical sector throughout Europe. In his most recent position, he served as Sales Director for Privilege Catamarans, a brand of luxury catamarans manufactured in France. Sergio is based in France near the Swiss border just outside of Geneva. His diverse experience across retail, wholesale, manufacturing, and captaining provides him with a unique understanding of the dealer/brand relationship and market dynamics.

"I am honored to join Aquila Power Catamarans at such an exciting time of growth in the EMEA region," said Sergio Loiacono, Regional Sales Director, EMEA for Aquila Power Catamarans. "With continued industry recognition and four major debuts planned for our largest-ever display at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where I'll be representing Aquila, we're strategically positioned to meet the increasing demand for premium power catamarans across these markets. My focus will be on strengthening our dealer network and ensuring Aquila's innovative designs reach discerning buyers throughout the region."

"I am delighted to welcome Sergio to the team. A true citizen of the world who speaks five languages fluently and brings valuable cultural insights from his international experience, Sergio represents an important new step in our organization as we continue to plan steady growth and network development for the coming years. His skills and passion for the industry will be ideal to manage Aquila's dealer network, acquire new dealers, foster strong relationships, and drive sales growth effectively," said Nick Harvey, Chief Revenue Officer at Aquila Power Catamarans.
