Project Tanzanite, the largest ever new build Amels, has entered the final outfitting stage following her recent floating and subsequent launch.

This 120-metre Amels Full Custom, known as Project Tanzanite, originally arrived in the Netherlands in June 2023 having been launched at the Dutch shipyard's hull building facility in Galati, Romania. This impressive superyacht, both in terms of design and size at 6083 GT, was recently floated inside the dock and the launch marks a key milestone for this full custom project as the yacht will now enter the next stage of the build process at the Amels main shipyard facilities in Vlissingen City. Over the course of the next year, more than 1000 craftsmen and women, from both the Damen Yachting team and extensive superyacht global supply chain, have been and will be applying their specialist skills preparing for final completion which is scheduled for 2026.

Project Tanzanite is an Amels Full Custom with exterior design by Espen Øino. As is customary with Full Custom builds, all final details regarding yacht features and information regarding her interiors remain confidential.
