The Finnish shipyard Saxdor, the fastest-growing boat brand, sets a new standard in leisure boating with the launch of its AI-driven platform, Saxdor AI, at Cannes Yachting Festival 2025. As the industry's first AI-driven experience platform, Saxdor AI acts as a digital companion that makes every stage of the boating journey smarter, simpler, and more enjoyable, further solidifying Saxdor's position as the technology leader in the boating industry.

Integrated into the MySaxdor app, Saxdor AI is a smart boating assistant that guides owners through features and usage, provides inspiration, and delivers tailored support whenever needed, helping owners get the most out of their Saxdor from day one. Saxdor AI acts like an AI-powered co-skipper, making boating easier from ownership to daily use by providing guidance, support, and practical tips without the need to contact a dealer. From routine checks like fuel and power to onboard comfort, Saxdor AI streamlines every task and unifies all aspects of the boat into one intelligent systema, allowing owners to enjoy more time on the water.

"A world-class boating experience goes way beyond the boat itself. It is about the ease, confidence, and enjoyment. While consumers have become familiar with to AI-powered features in apps in many areas of their lives, boating has long lacked this kind of seamless experience," says Erna Rusi, CEO of Saxdor Yachts. "With Saxdor AI, we're bringing the same intuitive, connected experiences into the world of boating, allowing our customers to focus on what truly matters: the pure joy of being on the water."

Developed in collaboration with Finnish AI company Cadentia, Saxdor AI leverages advanced algorithms to deliver a smart, intuitive platform that adapts and learns from every user. It delivers personalised tips, updates, and recommendations for the user and evolves proactively to anticipate needs before questions even arise.

"Saxdor is the first in leisure boating to offer its owners a dedicated AI companion of this caliber, a tool designed exclusively for their journey on the water. It's a powerful example of how brands can harness AI to guide, inspire, and build trust with customers at every step, creating ongoing connections instead of just reacting to frustration. Saxdor is showing what it means to truly put owners first, giving them an experience no other boatmaker currently provides," says Tatu Heikkilä, CEO and co-founder of Cadentia.

Saxdor is the first to bring this level of technology to the leisure boating market, setting a new benchmark for usability and experience. For new boaters in particular, Saxdor AI lowers the barrier to entry by offering confidence, safety, and support as standard. In the future, the platform is set to expand beyond the app to include onboard features for managing the boating experience.

From September 2025 onwards, Saxdor AI will be available on MySaxdor app across select Saxdor models: the 340 GTWA, 400 GTO, and 400 GTC.

In addition to its AI solution, Saxdor is transforming the digital boating experience with its Digital Showroom, developed by Finnish technology company Younite AI. Leveraging AI and digital twin technology, this photorealistic platform allows customers and dealers to explore the fleet in an immersive environment with day-and-night reflections, detailed interior and exterior views, and real-time configuration. Powered by highly detailed 3D modelling, the showroom provides an accuracy and depth that traditional configurators cannot match. With Saxdor AI available, customers can also ask practical questions, such as whether air conditioning can be added to a specific boat, and receive instant, tailored answers. The Digital Showroom lets users visualise, customise, and order their boats directly, creating a seamless and engaging experience.

"Digital twin-based experiences are becoming an essential part of both the buying journey and client care. With this, companies can now let customers explore, configure, and even commit to products before they are physically manufactured. What Saxdor is doing is a true step into the future of commerce," says Afa Heikkinen, CEO of Younite AI.

"With the help of our novel technology solutions, our customers can now experience Saxdor boats in a whole new way. By harnessing the newest technologies, we're redefining how people explore, interact with, and enjoy our boats, both before purchase and throughout ownership," Erna Rusi concludes.
