The International Jury, appointed by World Sailing, on Sunday afternoon ruled in favor of Team Holcim-PRB, after a collision at The Ocean Race Europe start in Kiel, Germany on August 10 that forced them to retire from the first leg. The jury awarded team Holcim-PRB redress for leg 1 equal to the average points the team will score in legs 2 to 5.
Alan Roberts, crew member representing Team Holcim-PRB in front of the jury: "We're pleased with the Jury decision, which will allow us to score points for leg 1 that fairly reflect the performance of the team over the course of the full race. After finishing second in Cartagena, we are proud to be fully back in race mode and remain as determined as ever to show that every setback is a chance for a comeback."
The start of the third leg, from Cartagena to Nice, is scheduled for Tuesday 26 August 2025.
