Show Four of Season Two - Jack Macartney - is now up and running

This week @BulwarksandBulldust speaks with Jack Macartney. From the legendary 18-footers, to supermaxis, TP52s, Volvo 70, J/70, and even Superfoiler, Jack does not hold back, as we look at the Hobart. Transpac, Fastnet. Caribbean 600, Transat, the Volvo Ocean Race, and a load more.

After enduring significant shoulder pain as a result of his sailing, Jack regained his vitality with CBD, and subsequently co-founded Cannfox (https://cannafox.com.au/) to assist others. Cannafox is a Byron Bay hinterland, seed-to-bottle hemp extract producer.

Hemp extract, commonly referred to as CBD, is linked to treating anxiety, pain management, sleep, arthritis and inflammation based issues.

News by @BulwarksandBulldust. Commodore of the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Sam Haines, has once again chartered the Volvo 70 that began life as Ericsson 3 to race in the 80th edition of the Boxing Day Classic. On board with Haines, are most of his great crew, which includes Jack Macartney, Rob Greenhalgh, and also Luke Parkinson.

Defending their Overall Win is clearly a big part of the campaign for the Overall Winner of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race in 2024. Five new North Sails are part of the deal, after they 'used up' nearly all of the ones on board last year.

No doubt they'll be hoping for a blow, as the VO70 is a weapon in anything over 15 knots from just about all directions, but especially when it becomes a reach or a run. Put the hammer down!
