Quintrex launches the next generation Trident Soft Top

by Quintrex 11 Aug 17:34 PDT
August, 11th Gold Coast, QLD Quintrex is proud to announce the release of the new and improved Trident Soft Top models, available in 610 and 660 variants © Quintrex

Quintrex is celebrating its 80th anniversary in style with a host of new design changes, feature upgrades and visual updates across key models.

Starting with the Trident, Quintrex's flagship model, this latest generation delivers impressive offshore capabilities and sets new benchmarks in function, comfort and style.

Available as a 610 and 660, the Trident has undergone numerous key design changes, most notably a new windshield, upgraded rocket launcher (which now incorporates Reel Easy rod holders; an intuitive and clever innovation from Quintrex which makes accessing rods much easier and safer in offshore conditions), cleaner looking pressings and a dash upgrade which greatly increases driver comfort, storage and space for those all-important electronics.

New and notable standard features include a significant 25% increase in fuel capacity from 160L to 200L, Zipwake trim tabs for greater vessel control in challenging conditions and a U-Dek trim kit throughout for added comfort and style. Boat buyers will also love the brand-new seating & upholstery which further enhances the comfort of these vessels, whilst the new rubber gunwale insert will keep the paintwork looking great for years to come.

"It's no secret that Quintrex is Australia's favourite boating brand, our ability to stretch form aluminium and offer the cutting edge Blade Hull and the drier ride of the Flared Bow separates us from the rest, so we've built on that winning foundation to offer an even more comfortable family fishing boat that's ready for all kinds of adventures, all year round" Lloyd Jaber, Product Strategy Manager, Quintrex.

Of course, these Australian-made boats retain all the key features that make the Trident a seriously capable offshore fishing platform; features such as self-draining floors with scupper drains, live bait tank, heavy duty dive ladder, stainless steel rod holders and marine grade flotation foam for added safety and acoustic benefits.

For the discerning buyer and the keen fishermen, the options list has also been given a serious boost. For the first time, Trident owners can opt to have U-Dek flooring, electric trolling motor brackets, cabin roller doors, Exploding Fish rod holders and suspension seat bases. Such features take what was already a highly functional vessel and take it to a whole new level, giving the crew more choice and control over their set up than ever before.

If that wasn't enough, the addition of a Pro Package takes all the decision fatigue out of the process and equips the owner with a string of the most popular options, which have proven to be a hit with generations of customers. This addition includes U-Dek flooring, a Bait & Fishing Station, Cabin Upholstery, transom upholstery, bimini, VHF radio, side coaming cushions, LED light kit, hydraulic tilt steering upgrade, wireless phone charger and a Quintrex 75L split-lid cooler.

The only thing left to do is choose your colour configuration, and the team at Quintrex has something new there, too. Three brand new paint colours have been added to the palette for 2025; Sandbar (a clean and contemporary beige), Crimson Sea (a rich and bold red), and Racing Green (a deep, heritage inspired tone that makes a statement at any boat ramp). All colours can be applied to the entire boat, or as a two-tone colour on the side sheet. The icing on the cake is a limited edition 80th Anniversary stripe kit, available in matt silver or metallic black.
