ISO Eurocup 2025 at Biscarosse, France Day 1

Italian and British boats travelled to France for the Eurocup in Biscarosse, a short postponement gave new and old friends the chance to catch up before the breeze filled in. A classically relaxed French start to the event saw the first warning signal of the at 14:00, not long after the clouds cleared and the sun was out in full force.

The ISO class were racing with the 4000's on the same start, making procedures challenging and exciting, not to mention the shifting winds keeping everyone on their toes! The breeze steadily increased throughout the day, with Rob and Henry leading day one, Dave and Rachel close behind in second place, followed by Bob and Cecilia in third. A tricky day for the Italians saw them picking up mixed results.
