Excitement builds for the 707 National Sailing Championship, happening at Port Edgar Yacht Club under the iconic Forth Bridges from July 31st to August 3rd!

Four action-packed days of racing, featuring 25 boats from across the UK, and 14 thrilling races planned. With an expected 125 sailors battling for victory, the competition promises unforgettable moments on the water.

But the fun doesn't stop there! Enjoy fantastic social events including:

  • Thursday Night Chili Bingo with a chance to win an outboard engine, generously sponsored by Eyemouth Marine. Over 12 major prizes to be won with something for everybody.

  • Friday Night Live Band at the Ferry Tap Bar in South Queensferry, lots of fun into the early hours.

  • Saturday Night Extravaganza at Scotts Restaurant, Port Edgar Marina, with a special prize draw for a Boom Cover sponsored by Saildoctor. Dinner will be followed by Boat karaoke at the Yacht Club with great prizes up for grabs for those who like to sing! The prize for best performing boat on the stage is a half-price jib, courtesy of Saturn Sails with many others prizes on offer.

We are grateful for the incredible support of our sponsors, including Galbraiths, Forth Logistics, Pret, Euroofit, Stewart Brewing, Allen Bros, Gillies, Saildoctor, De Novo Boatworks, Coast to Coast Rigging, Riggerous, and Port Edgar Marina. Their generosity makes this event possible.

The 707 fleet continues to be the most active One Design Keelboat Fleet outside the Solent, with two further events planned for the season, Largs Regatta in August and the RFYC One Design weekend in September.
