Swiss SailGP Team kick starts the European leg of Season 2025 this weekend, at the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix in Portsmouth (19-20 July).

Sunday also marks two months until the inaugural Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix which will take place in Geneva, the 10th stop of the Rolex SailGP Championship. Thousands of fans are expected to line the lake side from 20-21 September and tickets for the grandstand are available here.

For now, it's all eyes on Portsmouth and fans in Switzerland can catch all the action live on Blue Sport, along with SailGP's YouTube channel, from 17:00 - 18:30 CEST. Viewers around the world can find global broadcast details here.

It's been six weeks since the 12-strong fleet last battled it out in New York and at the Season's halfway stage, Swiss SailGP Team is ranked seventh on the leaderboard.

Driver Sébastien Schneiter shared his thoughts ahead of the weekend: "Portsmouth is a new venue, which is always exciting and it could be the biggest with the number of fans watching on the water and on shore. We are expecting quite tough conditions out on the Solent, in terms of wind, waves and tide - probably not as bad as New York but it won't be an easy venue. We are excited to hopefully be back to racing with the T-Foils too, because there should be a good breeze. It will also be quite a different one as we have an hour-long commute to the racecourse and back, so it will be long days out there - and we will have to be really focused throughout the whole day."

Schneiter on the Season so far: "We are generally happy with the first half of our season, but we definitely want more. We are a little bit the leaders of the second half of the fleet, the top boats are quite far away from us points-wise, but we really want to get closer to them in this next half of the Season. The first half has been focused on discovering and getting the whole team experienced and racing together, now we are in a moment where we want to push more and be more consistent, winning races and reaching that top five. We hope to arrive in Geneva later this summer more towards the front, and come out firing in front of the Swiss fans."

Earlier this month, Swiss SailGP Team were the focus in a special edition of 'Racing on the Edge', SailGP's official behind-the-scenes docuseries, produced in partnership with Rolex. Roger Federer also made an appearance, meeting with Sebastien Schneiter in Zurich to share valuable advice with him and the team.
