Big Deal, Bayliss 75' on the water update

by Bayliss Boatworks 6 Jul 06:38 AEST

Bayliss Boatworks is proud to announce the delivery of Big Deal (Bayliss 75'), a custom sportfishing weapon designed and built for owners with a long-standing relationship with our boatyard.

Building on years of dedicated service to their 75' Spencer, our team was honored to bring their vision for a purpose-built Bayliss to life.

As with all Bayliss builds, Big Deal's layout is completely owner-driven, carefully tailored to meet the operational demands of tournament fishing and offshore adventures. The result: a four-stateroom, four-head layout featuring a dedicated pantry and a fully equipped tackle room with specialized storage—designed to support both casual fishing days and high-stakes tournament competition.

The salon features warm walnut-veneered cabinetry and walls, with a portside L-shaped sofa and a starboard loveseat offering a comfortable place to relax. In the galley, Release Marine walnut barstools line a center island finished in sparkling Taj Mahal granite, paired with a two-person dinette on the starboard side—offering the perfect balance of functionality and comfort for extended time onboard.

Engineered for performance and reliability, Big Deal is powered by twin MTU 16V2000 M96Ls, supported by dual 40kW Kohler generators and stabilized by two Seakeeper 18s. She's outfitted with a Bayliss Boatworks freshwater cooling system to enhance system longevity and performance, and equipped with a Furuno Omni 10 sonar to give her crew a competitive edge below the surface. With a fuel capacity of 2,600 gallons, she's built for extended runs and big-game pursuits.

Delivered in June 2025, Big Deal represents the culmination of more than 75,000 man-hours of craftsmanship and innovation. Following her christening, she set course for Bermuda, where her team will soon compete in the prestigious Bermuda Triple Crown.
