The Italian Sea Group is proud to announce the delivery of S/Y Katana, a 60-metre sailing ketch. This marks an important milestone in the relaunch of the Perini Navi brand, now fully integrated within the Group.

Since acquiring Perini Navi in January 2022, The Italian Sea Group has launched a brand development plan. The strategy combines artisanal know-how with innovative technology. S/Y Katana is a prime example of this approach.

Designed for the owner's company Gamma Yachts, S/Y Katana features an aluminium hull and superstructure. The carbon fiber masts and rigging were supplied by Southern Spars. The yacht also includes a structural carbon bowsprit.

Katana offers maximum efficiency, versatility, and safety. The retractable keel ensures excellent performance even in shallow waters. The dynamic positioning system allows the yacht to remain safely in position without the need for anchoring.

The interiors, designed by French designer Rémi Tessier and built by German firm Metrica - renowned for its top-tier interiors - express understated and refined elegance.

Exceptional quality is revealed in the finest details. Every space is tailor-made, embracing a vision of luxury that favours discretion over excess. The result is an atmosphere of balance and harmony.

"The delivery of Katana marks another step forward in our Perini Navi relaunch project," commented Gianmaria Costantino, Chief Commercial Officer of The Italian Sea Group. "With this yacht, we reaffirm our commitment to excellence. Here, tradition and innovation coexist in perfect harmony".

S/Y Katana joins a series of recent deliveries and ongoing projects. It strengthens PERINI NAVI's leadership in the large sailing yacht segment and further consolidates TISG's position among the world's top players in the industry.
